The Clean Technology Investment Tax Credit (ITC) in Canada is a federal initiative aimed at accelerating investments in clean technology.

Eligible Canadian corporations can receive up to 30% of their investment as a tax rebate for the fiscal year in which the project was installed. Vertex meets both the wages and apprenticeship criteria required to receive the full 30% on your project.

Through it’s Commercial Buildings Retrofit Program, NB Power offers a rebate to eligible buildings for the addition of solar. Incentive is $120/GJ of emissions saved based on the projected output of the project from a feasibility study. NB Power will also return 100% of the feasibility study cost with the implementation of one recommendation from the study.

Program is open to all commercial, municipal, and institutional entities looking to offset their energy consumption.

The Industrial Energy Efficiency Program offers a rebate of the lesser of $0.22/kWh (Small Industry) or 50% of the project cost along with 100% of the feasibility study cost for the implementation of solar energy saving projects.
